Visa Requirements: No prior visa arrangements are required. On arrival, all foreign citizens with valid travel documents will be issued a visa of 30 days
Customs: Strict law prohibits the following: Importing of illegal drugs, alcohol, firearms and pornographic material into the Maldives . Exporting of corals, shells and other objects removed from the marine environment
Health Care: The Maldives population is generally healthy. Visitors will be safe but we advise that a doctor be consulted for any vaccinations necessary before traveling
Climate: Warm and humid, the sun smiles down all year round with the average temperature hitting 29 to 32° C (84-89° F). Water visibility ranges 60 to 100 ft and the water temperature averages 28 to 30° C (82-85° F)

Currency: Payments may be made in cash, via cheque or credit cards. Commonly used credit cards are American Express, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, JCB and Euro Card. The American Dollar is the most commonly used foreign currency
Dress: Casual attires such as t-shirts and cotton clothing are most suitable. It is recommended that modest clothing be worn without baring too much in the capital island (Male') and other inhabited islands
Drinks: Bottled water for drinking will be available at all times. Alcoholic and soft drinks are for sale. Any special drink preferences may be requested in advance and we will do our utmost to cater to your needs.
